1/72 I.A.R. 80/81 Exhausts
IBG 1/72 I.A.R. 80/81 Exhausts is a 3D printed additional set of exhausts for Romanian I.A.R. 80 and 81 fighter aircraft in 1/72 scale. It allows to replace basic plastic parts and add a higher level of detail to the models.
The Romanian I.A.R. 80 and 81 fighter aircraft, developed at the Industria Aeronautică Română factory in Brasov, formed the backbone of the Romanian Air Force during World War II. The machines were deployed on the Eastern Front alongside the Luftwaffe, taking part in the battles against the Soviet Union and later in the defence of Romania against Allied air raids. Their silhouette with a radial engine and characteristic exhaust arrangement is one of the typical features of these machines.
The 1/72 scale IBG kit includes accurately 3D printed exhausts to replace the simpler components of the basic kit. Fine details and sharp edges ensure high authenticity and realistic appearance of the final model. Thanks to modern 3D printing technology, assembly is easy and without the need for complex modifications.
The parts are suitable for both main variants - I.A.R. 80 and I.A.R. 81 - and are the ideal addition for modellers who want to add realistic character to their model and highlight the engine parts of these machines.
The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
