1/48 Albatros D.III is an Eduard Weekend Edition kit of the German WWI fighter biplane. The box contains Eduard plastic parts and decals for two marking options.

The Albatros D.III is one of the best-known German fighter aircraft of 1917. Its wooden fuselage, upper-wing radiator and elegant biplane outline make it a strong subject in 1/48 scale even without a large diorama. For a modeller it is attractive because it combines colourful WWI markings, rigging and the chance to paint convincing wood and fabric surfaces.

This is a Weekend Edition kit: it focuses on a clean plastic build without photo-etched parts or masks. That makes it a good choice if you want a classic Eduard kit in a simpler package, with enough detail to look convincing and enough room for your own painting work.
