1/35 WWII German Tank Crew (Driver) Half Figure

German tank crews were one of the most visible parts of Wehrmacht armoured units during World War II. The tank driver had a key role - he controlled the movement of the vehicle in the field and in combat, responded to the commander's instructions and had to manage difficult manoeuvres often under fire. In normal operation and during breaks in combat, it was common for crew members to open hatches for better orientation, ventilation or communication with the surroundings. It is these moments that are a favorite motif of modelers because they add a human dimension to the model and help tell the story.

The 1:35 scale CMK figure depicts the German tank driver in a half-figure - from the waist up - which corresponds to the way he would be seen with the hatch open. Thanks to 3D printing, the figure achieves a high level of detail: facial expressions, folds of the uniform, equipment and small elements such as buttons, buckles or insignia are processed with a precision that traditional casting often fails to achieve. This type of figure is suitable for a wide range of German armoured vehicles - Panzer III, Panzer IV, Panther, Tiger I, Tiger II, StuG III and other types with opening driver's hatches.

For the modeller, the figure offers the opportunity to bring the tank model to life and add a story to it. You can use it as part of a diorama (for example, crew resting, refueling, repairing) or simply place it in the hatch as an addition to a display model. Painting the figure requires delicate work with acrylic or enamel paints: Skin tone, shades of field grey uniform (Feldgrau), details of the equipment and any contamination appropriate to the environment (dust, oil, sweat). The package does not include the paints needed for completion.
