1/35 Tu-143 Reys photo reconnaissance
Clear Prop's 1/35th scale model of the Tu-143 Reys is a 1970s Soviet unmanned reconnaissance aircraft designed for tactical photographic reconnaissance. The Tu-143 was mainly used by Warsaw Pact forces and later exported to several other countries. The kit includes detailed plastic parts, interior fittings and decals. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Tupolev Tu-143 Reys was a Soviet short-range jet reconnaissance drone developed in the 1970s as a replacement for the older Tu-123 and Tu-141. Its main purpose was low-flying photographic and radiation reconnaissance behind enemy lines. The aircraft had a fixed wing, a detachable launch booster and a parachute landing system, which allowed it to be reused.
The Tu-143 was widely deployed by the Warsaw Pact armies and was also used during the conflicts in Afghanistan and the Middle East. After the collapse of the USSR, it remained in the arsenal of several post-Soviet states, including Ukraine, which has used it in modern conflicts.
The Clear Prop 1/35 Tu-143 Reys is a highly detailed kit that includes a precision crafted fuselage, reconnaissance equipment, launch booster and parachute module. In 1/35 scale, this model is also ideal for dioramas with military equipment and operators.
This kit is designed for more advanced modelers interested in Soviet reconnaissance and Cold War unmanned systems.
The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
