1/35 T57 Heavy Tank
The T57 Heavy Tank is a 1/35th scale American heavy tank prototype from the 1950s, designed as a successor to the T43/M103 with an autoloader and powerful gun. The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Takom 1/35 T57 Heavy Tank kit is a model of the American heavy tank that was created in the 1950s as a response to the threat of Soviet heavy armour. The T57 was conceived as a powerful successor to the T43 (later the M103), equipped with a 120mm caliber gun and a unique turret crew with automatic loader. Despite its promising parameters, development of the T57 was cancelled in 1957, and the tank never entered serial production.
The 1/35th scale model is richly detailed, offering realistic treatment of the low-profile turret, rugged chassis and armor elements. The kit is ideal for fans of Cold War prototypes and those interested in unusual armoured vehicles.
