1/35 T57 Heavy Tank
The T57 Heavy Tank is a 1/35th scale American heavy tank prototype from the 1950s, designed as a successor to the T43/M103 with an autoloader and powerful gun. The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Takom 1/35 T57 Heavy Tank kit is a model of the American heavy tank that was created in the 1950s as a response to the threat of Soviet heavy armour. The T57 was conceived as a powerful successor to the T43 (later the M103), equipped with a 120mm caliber gun and a unique turret crew with automatic loader. Despite its promising parameters, development of the T57 was cancelled in 1957, and the tank never entered serial production.
The 1/35th scale model is richly detailed, offering realistic treatment of the low-profile turret, rugged chassis and armor elements. The kit is ideal for fans of Cold War prototypes and those interested in unusual armoured vehicles. The kit does not include etched parts or interior, but provides an excellent basis for further modifications or dioramas.
The package does not include the paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
