1/35 M1128 MGS Stryker After w/MILES (Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System)

The M1128 Mobile Gun System (MGS) is a speialized variant of the Stryker wheeled armored vehicle that has been the backbone of the U.S. Army's medium brigade combat teams since the early 21st century. While the basic Stryker serves primarily as a troop carrier, the MGS version was developed as a direct fire support vehicle equipped with a 105mm gun mounted in a low-profile automated turret. This configuration was intended to provide troops with rapidly deployable firepower against fortifications, light equipment and buildings without having to wait for heavier tanks. The M1128 participated in operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, where its mobility and firepower complemented infantry variants of the Stryker in urban and open terrain.
