The K2 "Black Panther", developed by the South Korean company Hyundai Rotem, is one of the most advanced main battle tanks in the world. It is equipped with a 120 mm smooth bore gun, automatic reloading system, advanced fire control system and advanced composite and reactive armour. Thanks to its powerful diesel engine and hydropneumatic suspension, it is characterized by high speed and excellent ground clearance.
The Polish Army began taking delivery of these tanks in 2022 as part of a major modernisation programme. The Polish version differs with specific modifications, markings and equipment to meet the needs of the Polish Armed Forces. The vehicles serve as the modern backbone of the armoured units and complement the US M1A1 Abrams tanks.
The special edition of the Hobby 2000 1/35th scale kit features detailed plastic parts with authentic renderingm version of the Polish K2 and includes additional parts and accessories for an even higher level of detail.
