1/35 IDF APC Nagmashot
Hobby Boss 1/35 IDF APC Nagmashot is a 1/35th scale plastic model construction kit of the Israeli heavy armoured personnel carrier. The Nagmashot was created in the 1970s by converting Centurion tanks and was used to transport infantry in high threat conditions, especially during the fighting in the Middle East.
After the experience of the 1973 war, the Israeli army decided to use Centurion tank chassis to create a heavily armored personnel carrier that would provide better protection for infantry than the lighter American M113. Thus was born the Nagmashot, the first of a number of Israeli heavy APCs. Its heavy armor and rugged design allowed it to be deployed in high-risk areas where lightly armored personnel carriers could not survive.
Nagmashots were used during the 1970s and 1980s, particularly in operations in southern Lebanon. They often accompanied infantry in battles against fortified positions and were also deployed to protect convoys. Later, they became the basis for further upgrades, which gave rise to the Nagmachon and Nakpadon.
The 1/35th scale Hobby Boss kit offers a detailed model of this transporter with authentic proportions, realistic chassis and fine surface details. It is suitable for both stand-alone construction and dioramas, bringing the atmosphere of the Middle East conflicts of the second half of the 20th century to life.
The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
