CMK 1/35 Hetzer Mid + Late 'Saukopf' Mantlet Correction (Short Type)/for Academy kits is a resin add-on set designed to upgrade Academy's 1:35 scale plastic kits of Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer. The set includes a more accurate version of the characteristic "Saukopf" type barrel cover. head) in the short variant that was used on the mid and late production runs of the vehicle. With this addition, greater historical accuracy and detail can be achieved than with the original plastic parts. Package does not include paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
Hetzer Mid + Late ‘Saukopf’ Mantlet Correction (Short Type)/ for Academy kits is a 3D-printed resin conversion kit in 1/35 scale from CMK.
The Hetzer tank destroyer was equipped with a gun mantlet known as the “pig’s head.” This mantlet was modified during production; its shape changed, and it was produced in several variants. Academy did not quite capture the shield’s shape accurately in its Hetzer kit. We have therefore prepared 3D-printed shields with the correct shape. This set offers the so-called short-type shield.
This is an add-on set; the plastic kit, paints, and glue are not included unless explicitly stated by the manufacturer.
