1/35 German 7.5cm PaK 40 Late w/Elite Artillerie Regiment Crew. SPECIAL EDITION

The German 7.5 cm PaK 40 was one of the main anti-tank weapons of the Wehrmacht from 1942 until the end of the war. Developed by Rheinmetall-Borsig as a response to the new Soviet T-34 and KV tanks, it quickly proved its effectiveness with theits combination of high speed, reliable design and ability to penetrate thick armour at long range. By 1945, over 20,000 of various versions had been built, and the PaK 40 became the standard weapon of anti-tank infantry units and specialized artillery units. The later version, which this kit depicts, included simplified production features and modified receiver details for faster production during the late war years.

The special edition includes elite operators from artillery regiments where experienced artillerymen trained in rapid operation and accurate fire served. These gunners often operated in extreme conditions on the Eastern Front and in Western Europe, where the PaK 40 formed a key defensive weapon against advancing Allied armour. Their professional procedures and coordination were critical for rapid targeting, reloading and repeated firing in the hectic combat.
