1/35 German 7.5cm Anti-Tank Gun PaK 40. Mid Prod w/ Artillery Crew. Special Edition
MiniArt 1/35 German 7.5cm Anti-Tank Gun PaK 40. Mid Prod w/ Artillery Crew. Special Edition is a plastic model of German WW2 anti-tank gun from mid production series. Included is a complete artillery crew so you can build a dynamic battle scene right out of the box. The kit includes photo-glued parts for added detail. Package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The 7.5cm Panzerabwehrkanone 40 (PaK 40) was one of the most successful and widespread German anti-tank guns of World War II. It was designed as a response to the increasing armour of Soviet and Allied tanks, which the older PaK 35/36 and PaK 38 types could not reliably destroy. The PaK 40 entered service in 1942 and quickly became the standard anti-tank vehicle for infantry and armoured units. Its 7.5cm barrel gun could penetrate the armour of most tanks of the time, including Soviet T-34s and American M4 Shermans, at normal combat ranges. The gun was deployed on all fronts - from the steppes of Eastern Europe to North Africa to the Western Front after the Allied landings. In total, over 23,000 were produced, making it one of the most outstanding artillery systems of the conflict.
The 1:35 scale MiniArt kit represents the Mid Production version, which featured minor design modifications from the early series - such as a reinforced breech, modified armor shield, and other details reflecting combat experience. The model offers a high level of detail, including a realistically detailed receiver, armoured shield with distinctive shape and functional elements of the mechanism. Artillery crew figures are included to create a complete battle scene - loader, gunner, sight, commander and other crew members in action poses. The included photo-etched parts enhance the realism of the model and add finer elements that would be difficult to produce from plastic.
This Special Edition offers a complete solution for modelers who want to build an authentic scene without having to buy additional accessories. The cannon and figures can be painted in field colors corresponding to the chosen battlefield - dunkelgelb for later in the war, panzergrau for early deployments, or winter white camouflage for the eastern front. The model is suitable both as a stand-alone display piece and as part of a larger diorama.
