1/35 G7107 Cargo Truck with "Ben Hur" Trailer

The Chevrolet G7107 was one of the most widely used American trucks of World War II. It was a member of the G506 family of vehicles and was produced in large numbers from 1940 onwards. It was a 1.5-ton all-wheel-drive vehicle that was deployed to transport supplies, troops and light equipment. Its rugged construction and reliability made it indispensable in the logistics of the US Army and its allies, including the Soviet Union, where it was brought in through the Lend-Lease program.

Officially designated the 1-ton Cargo Trailer, the Ben Hur was designed to carry additional cargo and could be attached to a wide variety of vehicles. Combined with the G7107, it formed an efficient and versatile means of transport that greatly expanded the transport capacity. This assembly was often seen on the European and Pacific battlefields, where it provided supply to front-line troops.
