The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I is one of the most famous fighter aircraft in history and became a symbol of the British Air Force during the Battle of Britain in 1940. Late versions of the Mk.I (late) was characterized by minor modifications to the instrumentation, pilot armour and other details that reflected the experience of early combat deployments. Yahu Models' photo-etched instrument panel is designed to detail the cockpit of Kotare's 1:32 scale kits. The photo-etching technology makes it possible to capture subtle reliefs, instrument rims, labels and other elements that would be simplified or completely absent in conventional plastic. The result is a significantly more realistic view of the cockpit, which will be especially appreciated by modelers building with the cockpit cover open or planning a detailed interior photograph.

Working with photo-etched parts requires some skill: the parts must be carefully separated from the support frame using a sharp blade or photo etch scissors, then bent according to the instructions (if necessary) and glued with a special photo etch adhesive (e.g. The adhesive can be used with a special adhesive (cyanoacrylate-based) or with a conventional instant adhesive. It is recommended to use tweezers and work in good lighting. The panel can then be highlighted with a dry brush, wash paints or pigments to bring out individual devices and details.
