The Messerschmitt Bf-110 was a German two-seat heavy fighter aircraft that played an important role in Luftwaffe tactics during World War II. The C and D versions were among the first mass-produced variants deployed in combat operations - the Bf-110C appeared in the campaign in Poland and later in the Battle of France, while theThe Bf-110D was a modified version with extended range thanks to additional tanks, designed primarily for escorting bombers and patrolling over the sea. In practice, the heavy fighter proved insufficiently maneuverable for engagements with modern single-seat fighters, but it proved useful as a bomber interceptor, night fighter, and attack aircraft. For modellers, the Bf-110 is interesting for its distinctive silhouette, twin engines and well-equipped cockpit that offers room for detailing.

The photo-etched accessory from Yahu Models is designed specifically for the 1:32 scale Bf-110C/D kits from Cyber Hobby and Dragon. It replaces the standard plastic instrument panel with a more detailed design with etched numeralsdials, levers and controls to better match the actual cockpit equipment. Photo-etching allows for finer lines and more precise proportions than would be possible with injection-moulded plastic parts, while reducing the weight of the detail. Installation requires careful separation of the parts from the support frame, bending as instructed (if necessary), and adhering with a suitable adhesive (such as instant or special photo-polish). Basic experience with photo adhesive is recommended as the parts are thin and require careful handling.

The add-on is suitable for modelers who want to increase the level of detail in the cockpit without the need for a complete rebuild or scratch-building. Combined with other details (e.g. seats, seat belts, painted dials) it allows for a realistic interior that stands out with the cockpit cover open. The package does not include the paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
