The Horten Ho-229 (also referred to as the Gotha Go 229) was one of Germany's boldest attempts to develop a jet aircraft with a revolutionary layoutThe flying wing design without a conventional fuselage and tail surfaces was intended to reduce air resistance and increase speed and range. The project was led by the Horten brothers, who had already been working on unpowered gliders before the war, and inthe Ho-229 became one of the few jet types to reach at least the prototype and flight test stage. Although it did not make it into combat deployment, the Ho-229 still fascinates to this day with its design boldness and ahead of its time - some elements of its design are reminiscent of modern stealth technology.

The Yahu Models photo-etch add-on is designed for the 1:32 scale Zoukei Mura kit, which is one of the most detailed and detailed models of this aircraft on the market. The photo-etched dashboard replaces the plastic version from the original kit and brings a higher level of detail - individual dials, controls and panel structure can be more realistically displayed thanks to thin metal and precision etching. Installation of the photo-etch requires careful separation of the parts from the support frame, bending as instructed and gluing with instant or special photo etch adhesive; therefore, at least basic experience with this technique is recommended.

Once glued, the dashboard can be highlighted by dry brushing, painting the dials with a fine brush, or using dial decals (if included in the kit or available separately). The result is a cockpit with a significantly higher level of detail that stands out especially when the cockpit canopy is open or the model is illuminated.
