1/32 Heinkel He 219 A-0 Uhu
Zoukei Mura 1/32 Heinkel He 219 A-0 Uhu is a 1/32 scale plastic kit of German WWII night fighter aircraft. The He 219 was one of the Luftwaffe's most technically advanced aircraft, equipped with radar, powerful engines and armament designed to destroy Allied bombers. The model offers exceptionally detailed construction, interior and engine sections.
The Heinkel He 219 A-0 "Uhu" was the Luftwaffe's pioneering night fighter aircraft, developed in response to increasingly intense Allied bomber raids over Germany. Its development began in 1940 and the machine was conceived from the outset as a dedicated night fighter. The He 219 was one of the first combat aircraft to be equipped with the FuG 212 Lichtenstein C-1 airborne radar, which enabled it to effectively search for and destroy targets in the dark.
The aircraft featured all-metal construction, a pressurized cabin and ejection seats - features that were quite extraordinary in their day. Powered by a pair of Daimler-Benz DB 603 engines, it achieved high speed and excellent climbability, making it a dangerous adversary for RAF night bombers. The first operational deployment took place in 1943, and despite the limited number of units produced, the He 219 earned a reputation as one of the most effective night fighters of World War II.
The 1/32 scale Zoukei Mura kit, from the "Super Wing Series", faithfully captures the construction details of the real machine - from the internal fuselage frame structure, to the detailed DB 603 engines, to the realistic cockpit and radar equipment. The model allows open views of the engine sections and access to the armament, making it an ideal choice for advanced modellers looking for a technically accurate and historically faithful kit.
The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
