The Focke-Wulf Fw-190 was one of the most successful German fighter aircraft of World War II. The A-5 version, introduced in 1943, was an improved variant of the basic A-type with an extended front fuselage that improved the aircraft's balance and allowed the installation of more powerful versions of the BMW 801 engine. The Fw-190A-5 proved itself in a variety of roles, from aerial combat to escorting bombers to attacking ground targets. Pilots appreciated it for its robust design, powerful armament and good flight characteristics, especially when compared to the earlier Messerschmitt Bf 109 types. Modelers find the Fw-190A-5 attractive because of its characteristic wide fuselage, its radial engine with a large cowling, and the variety of paint schemes used on different fronts.

Yahu Models offers a laser-cut instrument panel as a replacement for the standard plastic part in the 1:32 scale Hasegawa and Hobby 2000 kits. The main advantage of this accessory is the higher level of detail - the dials are cut out (not just printed or marked), the panel texture andThe structure of the panel corresponds to the real model and the overall appearance of the cockpit looks more realistic, especially after painting and highlighting the individual instruments. Installation requires removing the original plastic part and gluing the new panel in place, usually using instant glue or a special adhesive for photo-etched parts. Careful handling of delicate parts is recommended, and possibly supplementing with transparent dial covers (paint drops or special film can be used) to increase the depth of the effect.

This type of accessory is suitable for modellers who want to improve the interior detailing without the need for a complete rebuild of the cockpit with a resin kit. It combines well with other aftermarket parts, such as seat belts, colored photo-etched decals, or a resin pilot's seat. The resulting cockpit will then stand out better when the cowling is open or when photographing details of the finished model.
