1/32 Do 335 A-0 Pfeil
Zoukei Mura SWS10 1/32 Dornier Do 335 A-0 Pfeil is a 1/32 scale plastic kit of a unique German heavy fighter aircraft from the end of WWII. This revolutionary machine with twin engines in push and pull configuration was one of the fastest piston aircraft of its time. The model offers extremely detailed construction and technical parts according to the "Super Wing Series" concept.
The Dornier Do 335 A-0 "Pfeil" (Arrow) was one of the most advanced fighter aircraft built during World War II. Its unique layout, with one engine in the nose and another in the rear fuselage, gave it high speed without the usual drag of twin-engined machines. By 335, it reached speeds of over 750 km/h, making it the Luftwaffe's fastest piston-powered aircraft.
The aircraft was equipped with a pair of Daimler-Benz DB 603 engines, retractable tricycle landing gear and an ejection seat - an extremely modern feature at the time. The A-0 version was a pre-production batch intended for testing and trials, but the type never saw combat service. After the war, several examples fell into Allied hands and became a valuable source of aerodynamic and performance knowledge.
