The Mitsubishi A5M, code-named "Claude" by the Allies, was the first airborne fighterm monoplane of the Japanese Imperial Naval Air Force and the forerunner of the more famous A6M Zero. The A5M4 version represented the last and most numerous production variant with improved engine and armament. The machine first proved its combat worth during the Sino-Japanese War from 1937, where it dominated the airspace and allowed Japanese pilots to gain valuable experience with modern fighter aviation. Although it was obsolete by the start of the Pacific War, the A5M4 remained in active service on less exposed fronts and in secondary roles until 1945. For modellers, it provides an interesting alternative to the conventionally built types - a machine with a distinctive rigid undercarriage and sleek silhouette that was at the birth of the Japanese fighter tradition.

The Yahu Models instrument panel is an aftermarket accessory designed specifically for Special Hobby 1:32 scale kits. It is a laser-cut part made of thin material (usually wood or plastic) that replaces the standard plastic panel and brings finer relief to the instruments, better legibility of details and more realistic depth. Thanks to precision cutting, a more distinctive cockpit appearance can be achieved without complex techniques - simply remove the panel carefully from the support frame, paint it with a base colour (typically Mitsubishi Green, a dark greygreen used on Japanese cockpits), highlight the individual instruments with a dry brush or wash effect and finally glue them in place according to the kit instructions. The panel is compatible with other aftermarket accessories for the A5M4 (tracks, etched parts, resin seats) and is well suited for builders who want to improve the interior detailing without the need for a complete rebuild.

Installation requires basic modeling skills: removal from the carrier, possible edge trimming, painting and gluing. The package does not include the paint or glue needed for completion.
