The Zlin Z-526AFS Z-526AFS Acrobat 1/48 scale model by Eduard is a modernized version of the famous Czechoslovak aerobatic aircraft, used for advanced training and competition flights. The kit offers quality parts, decals for multiple versions and masks for easier painting. Package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Zlín Z-526AFS Akrobat was one of the highlights of the development of Czechoslovak sport and aerobatic aircraft in the second half of the 20th century. Designed on the basis of the previous Z-26 series, it had a strengthened M-137 engine and other modifications to allow superior handling during aerobatic manoeuvres. The aircraft was used in both civilian aero clubs and military pilot training and participated in a number of international competitions.
The Eduard Z-526AFS Akrobat 1/48 scale model brings a detailed kit with accurate paneling, realisticm interior and a choice of several camouflage schemes, including machines from the civilian and sporting spheres. Also included are pre-painted etched parts for the cockpit, masks for the clear parts and other accessories to enhance the fidelity of the final model.
The package does not include the paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
