SPITFIRE STORY: The Sweeps DUAL COMBO 1/72

SPITFIRE STORY edition: The Sweeps covers the period 1941-1942, when RAF fighter units launched offensive "sweeps" - daily fighter raids over occupied Europe to force air combat with the Luftwaffe and keep the pressure on the German air force. The main type of these operations was the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb, which at the time formed the backbone of the British fighter air force. Not only British pilots, but also members of the occupied countries who served in RAF squadrons were heavily involved in these missions.

The Dual Combo 1/72 scale kit contains Eduard plastic parts to build two Spitfire Mk.Vb models. It offers a total of 11 camouflage schemes for the aircraft of pilots of different nationalities, detailed Eduard decals, coloured etched parts to enhance the realism of the interior and exterior, and masks for easy cockpit treatment. The kit is aimed at modellers who are interested in the historical context of the air war over Europe and want to create authentic models of the iconic Spitfires of the RAF's offensive operations.

The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
