The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was one of the most widely used American fighter aircraft of the second World War II, and the P-40N version represented its last and lightest developmental stage. This type was deployed in the Pacific, China, Europe and Africa and was used by the American, Australian, New Zealand, British, Dutch and Soviet air forces, among others. Thanks to its durability, easy maintenance and good armament, the "Nka" remained in service even after the end of the war.
