Bf 108 1/32
Eduard 1/32 Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun in WEEKEND edition presents a detailed plastic model of the famous German fighter and sport aircraft, whose design became the basis for the development of the Bf 109 fighter. The kit includes 4 camouflage schemes and decals by Eduard. The package does not include the paints or glues needed for assembly.
The Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun was an elegant single-engine sport and touring aircraft developed by Bayerische Flugzeugwerke in the early 1930s. Its all-metal modern design inspired the creation of the legendary Bf 109 fighter aircraft. The machine gained recognition not only in civilian but also in military use - during World War II it served mainly as a Luftwaffe liaison aircraft.
The name Taifun was given to it by the famous German pilot Elly Beinhorn, who became famous for her solo round-the-world flight and took second place with the Bf 108 B-1 in the prestigious International Circuit of the Oases race in Egypt in 1937. With its performance, reliability and elegance, the Bf 108 became a symbol of the technical progress of German aviation in the 1930s.
The Eduard 1/32 scale kit comes in the WEEKEND edition, which features detailed plastic parts, four attractive camouflage schemes and Eduard's own decals. No etched parts, masks or resin accessories are included, making the kit an ideal choice for modelers who prefer a clean build with no extras but with an emphasis on quality and accuracy.
The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
