B-25J Mitchell "Strafer" 1/48

The North American B-25 Mitchell became one of the most famous aircraft of World War II, especially famous for the Doolittle Raid on Tokyo. The B-25J version, which was produced in the largest numbers, represented the pinnacle of the type's development.

The "Strafer" variant, with a fixed, unglazed nose, was a specific response to the needs of the Pacific theater. Instead of a bomb sight and glass nose, the bow was fitted with eight 12.7 mm machine guns, which, combined with the additional...made the aircraft a devastating tool for low-altitude attacks. These machines were the terror of the Japanese navy and ground fortifications, with their firepower capable of literally cutting enemy targets to pieces.
