1/48 Su-35 "Flanker-E"

The Sukhoi Su-35 "Flanker-E" is an upgraded variant of the Su-27, designed to provide air superiority and multi-role combat capability. Compared to the original Su-27, the Su-35 received more powerful AL-41F1S thrust vectoring engines, upgraded avionics, Irbis-E phased array radar and enhanced electronic warfare capabilities. The aircraft is capable of carrying a wide range of guided and unguided weapons, including the R-77, R-73 and R-27 air-to-air missiles, as well as guided bombs and Kh-31, Kh-29 and Kh-59 anti-ship missiles.

The Su-35 is considered to be the most advanced Generation 4++ aircraft that can stand up to the fifth-generation machines. Compared to the Su-27, it offers longer range, better radar, higher weapons payload and significantly better manoeuvrability, giving it a significant advantage in aerial combat.
