1/72 Lavochkin La-7
Kovozávody Prostějov KPV7201 brings classic "vintage" kit of Soviet fighter aircraft Lavočkin La-7 in 1:72 scale. The model offers solid details, three decal variants and a nice building difficulty suitable for beginners.
The Lavochkin La-7 was the top developmental stage of the famous Soviet fighter line LaGG-1 - La-5 - La-7. It entered service in 1944 and quickly became one of the Red Army's best piston fighter aircraft at the end of World War II. Thanks to its powerful AS-82FN engine, improved aerodynamics and better workmanship, it surpassed in many respects the German Fw 190 and Bf 109 of recent versions.
The La-7 became especially famous in the hands of ace pilots such as Ivan Kozedub, a three-time Hero of the Soviet Union. The machine served mostly on the Eastern Front until the end of the war and briefly in the post-war period.
