1/72 German WWII Horten H18A Super Long-Range Strategic Bomber
Modelcollect 1/72 German WWII Horten H18A Super Long-Range Strategic Bomber is a plastic kit of a hypothetical strategic bomber from Horten projects from the end of WWII. This 1/72 scale model represents the design of a long-range aircraft with a flying wing design, which was intended to carry armament over intercontinental distances.
The Horten brothers were among the pioneers of flying wing design and their designs attracted the attention of the German Air Force, especially at the end of World War II. One of their ambitious projects was the Horten H18A, a conceptual intercontinental bomber designed to achieve long range and high speeds thanks to its jet propulsion and aerodynamic shape.
The machine was to be able to conduct strategic raids on distant targets, including the United States, thus fitting into the so-called "America Bomber" program. However, the project never made it to the production stage and remained on paper, like many other designs in the "Luft '46".
Modelcollect's 1/72 scale kit offers detailed plastic parts to build this unique concept. With its distinctive flying wing shape, aerodynamic lines and armament options, this this is an attractive model for anyone interested in experimental projects and the alternative history of WWII aviation.
The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
