The Fiat G.50bis "Freccia" was an improved version of the first all-metal Italian fighter aircraft that entered service in the late 1930s. Compared to the original version, it brought mainly increased range and a modified fuselage with a magazine compartment. The G.50bis took part in combat in the Balkans, the Mediterranean and North Africa, and served with Regia Aeronautica and other air forces - including the Croatian and Finnish air forces.
The 1/72nd scale kit by Kovozávod Prostějov brings a variant with special markingsm and offers modellers a varied selection of lesser known camouflage schemes. The model is made up of detailed plastic parts, includes decals for several versions and is a great choice for those interested in WWII Italian aviation or unusual historical themes.
