1/72 Chendu F-7 "Asian users" - KPM0505 Kovozávody
Chengdu F-7 "Asian users" 1/72 by Kovozávod Prostějov is an export variant of Chinese copy of Soviet MiG-21, used by many Asian countries. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Chengdu F-7 is the Chinese version of the legendary Soviet MiG-21 fighter aircraft, produced in several modifications from the 1960s until the early 21st century. Based on the license and technical documentation of the MiG-21F-13, the People's Republic of China began producing its own derivative under the designation J-7, which became the basis for the export models known as the F-7. The aircraft became one of the most widely used jet fighters in third world countries and AsianAsian countries such as Bangladesh, Pakistan, Myanmar, Iran, North Korea and Sri Lanka.
The F-7 retains the basic characteristics of the MiG-21 - simplicity, light weight, high speed and the distinctive delta wing. Some versions received improved avionics, the ability to carry different types of armament, and modifications for better maneuverability. F-7s have been deployed in various regional conflicts and as the primary fighter armament of many air forces.
The 1/72nd scale kit by Kovozávod Prostějov, KPM0505, offers a model of the F-7 in the depiction of the machines used by various Asian countries. It features detailed plastic parts, fine engraving, an openable cockpit and attractive decals for several camouflage schemes. Its specific focus makes the model suitable for collectors and modelers interested in the lesser known users of the MiG-21 and its derivatives.
The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
