New

The Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann was designed in Germany in 1934 as a light training biplane for basic pilot training. Its simple design, reliability and excellent flight characteristics made it one of the most widely used school aircraft of its time. In the Luftwaffe it was one of the basic types on which thousands of pilots learned to fly, but it was also exported to many other countries - from Spain to Japan.

An interesting chapter is its service in Romania, where female pilots were trained in these machines as part of the Women's Air Squadron. One of them was Nadia Russo, a pioneer of women's flying and a combat aviator who flew transport and ambulance missions and took part in combat alongside German and Romanian troops. Her name has become a symbol of the determination and courage of women in war.

The RS Model 1/72 scale kit offers detailed Bü 131A and D variants with the possibility to build a machine associated with the name of Nadia Russo. The model commemorates not only an important school aircraft of the 1930s and 1940s, but also the personal story of one of the first women to actively participate in the wartime air force.

The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
