1/48 Mil Mi-35 Tiger 3366 (Alien) Very limited edition

The Mil Mi-35 is a Soviet attack helicopter that was developed as a modernized and export version of the Mi-24 "Hind" type. The design is a heavy attack helicopter capable of carrying a crew or a small number of troops, combining a fire support role with a limited transport capacity. The Mi-35 has retained the characteristic silhouette of its predecessor - tandem cabin arrangement, short wings with a rearwhile bringing improvements in avionics, armament and protection. In the Czech Air Force, Mi-24/Mi-35 helicopters have served as the main combat type since the 1990s and have gradually undergone upgrades that have extended their operational life and improved their combat capabilities.

The Tiger Meet is a traditional exercise of NATO and partner nation air forces whose emblem is the tiger. On this occasion, participants present themselves in striking, often elaborate camouflagecamouflage schemes that combine functional military colouring with distinctive graphics and tiger motifs. In 2016, the Czech Mi-35 helicopter with fuselage number 3366 took part in the Tiger Meet in Zaragoza, Spain, and received a special paint job called "Alien Tiger". This paint was designed and implemented by Karel Novotný and his team and features dark, aggressive graphics reminiscent of an alien tiger form - hence the name "Alien". The colour scheme combines dark tones with contrasting details and stylized elements, making the machine one of the most photographedparticipants of the event and a symbol of the Czech Air Force's creative approach to representation at international exercises.

The 1:48 scale Eduard kit belongs to the Limited Edition, which means a limited print run and rich accessories. The plastic parts come from Eduard, the decals are also Eduard branded and match one camouflage scheme - just the Alien Tiger paint from 2016.
