1/35 Kanonenjagdpanzer/Beobachtungspanzer - Das Werk
Das Werk 1/35 Kanonenjagdpanzer / Beobachtungspanzer is a kit of a German post-war tank fighter and its observation variant, allowing to build one of two Cold War versions. The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Kanonenjagdpanzer, also known as the KaJaPa, was a German tank fighter developed in the 1960s for the Bundeswehr as a direct successor to the Jagdpanzer IV. The vehicle was equipped with a 90mm cannon and had a low profile and heavy frontal armour, making it suitable for defensive tasks as part of NATO strategy during the Cold War. In later years, some of these vehicles were converted into Beobachtungspanzer, i.e. observation tanks designed for artillery support.
Das Werk 's 1/35 scale kit offers a choice between two versions - the standard Kanonenjagdpanzer or the converted Beobachtungspanzer. It includes detailed plastic parts, realistically rendered chassis, faithfully executed armament, observation instruments and other specific components depending on the version chosen. Also included are decals for the various Bundeswehr vehicle markings and clear instructions.
The model is suitable for all fans of modern German technology, Cold War machines and tactical armoured vehicles.
The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
