1/35 IDF APC Nagmachon (Doghouse I)
Hobby Boss 1/35 IDF APC Nagmachon (Doghouse I) is a 1/35th scale plastic model construction kit of the Israeli heavy armoured personnel carrier. The Nagmachon vehicle, based on the Centurion tank chassis, was developed for transporting infantry and engineer units in intense combat conditions. The Doghouse I variant features a raised armoured superstructure with observation ports.
The Nagmachon belongs to the Israeli army's family of heavy armoured personnel carriers, which were created by converting decommissioned Centurion tanks. It is characterized by its strong armour, mine resistance and the possibility of adding various combat and engineer equipment. It was primarily designed for deployment in urban combat and in areas with a high risk of infantry attacks.
The Nagmachon Doghouse I variant is characterized by a large armoured superstructure on the hull, which provides the crew and landing party with better visibility and protection during operations. This feature was a typical feature of the machines deployed in the 1980s and 1990s, particularly in southern Lebanon and during security operations in the Middle East.
