The G-518 "Ben Hur" was a standardized U.S. single-axle, one-ton cargo trailer used during World War II, primarily in combination with Dodge, GMC and other Army trucks. Due to its rugged construction and versatility, it found widespread use in transporting materials, supplies and equipment throughout Europe and the Pacific.
