1/32 PZL P.11C recommended for IBG
Yahu Models 1/32 PZL P.11C is a laser cut instrument panel designed for IBG Models 1:32 scale kits. It is a "just stick" accessory - the parts are just glued together, no need to glue or paint them. The panel adds detail to the cockpit of a Polish fighter aircraft from before and during the early days of WWII. Requires IBG Models PZL P.11C kit (sold separately). Glue to attach panel to kit is not included.
The PZL P.11C was a Polish fighter aircraft, which at the time of its introduction into service (mid-1930s) was one of the most modern machines of its kind. Its design was based on the family of "11s" designed by Zygmunt Puławski and produced by Państwowe Zakłady Lotnicze (PZL). It was characterised by a gull wing with a pronounced sweep, which improved the pilot's view, and an all-metal construction. By the mid-1930s the P.11C was a modern machine with good manoeuvrability and performance, but by September 1939 it was already lagging behind the latest types (Messerschmitt Bf 109, Spitfire). Nevertheless, it formed the backbone of the Polish Fighter Air Force and its pilots achieved their first aerial victories in September 1939, albeit at the cost of heavy losses. For modellers, the P.11C is interesting as a symbol of Polish resistance in the early days of the war and as a technically elegant landmark type of the interwar period.
The instrument panel by Yahu Models is a laser-cut accessory designed specifically for IBG Models 1:32 scale kits. It is a "just stick" type, i.e. a part ready for immediate use - just remove it from the support sheet and glue it to the designated place in the cockpit of the kit. The panel does not need to be assembled in multiple layers or painted, as the details (dials, instruments, labels) are laser engraved and, if necessary, colour-accentuated by printing. This approach saves time while giving the cockpit a significantly higher level of detail than standard plastic kit parts.
Use is simple: the panel is removed, the edges gently cleaned up if necessary (if small laser marks remain), and then glued into the IBG Models PZL P.11C cockpit (kit sold separately). It is recommended to use clear quick-drying glue or a dab of instant glue to avoid damaging the panel surface. Due to the precision cut, the panel shape matches exactly the space in the cockpit of the IBG kit. The package does not include the adhesive needed for attachment.
