The Toyota Land Cruiser J60, sold in some countries as the Toyota Safari, represents the third generation of the legendary Toyota Land Cruiser range of off-road vehicles. Produced between 1980 and 1990, this generation marked a shift from pure utilitarian vehicles to more modern and comfortable off-roaders that managed to combine ruggedness with everyday usability. The Land Cruiser J60 featured a spacious body, a sturdy frame and reliable engines that made it popular with privatebut also with armies, emergency services, expeditionary teams and organisations operating in challenging terrain around the world.
