Khârn the Betrayer is a legendary figure in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, former commander of the 8th Company of the World Eaters Legion. His name is synonymous with uncontrolled rage and bloodshed. He was the personal aide to Primarch Angron and, like the rest of his legion, underwent surgery to implant the so-called Butcher's Nails into his brain. These implants constantly forced him to fight and shed blood, which eventually drove him insane and to eternal damnation. After Horus' heresy, Khârn became the champion of the god Khorne, god of blood and war. He is known for his mindless brutality and uncompromising approach in battle, where he does not distinguish between friends and foes - shedding blood indiscriminately for the glory of his god. His reputation is so fearsome that he is said to have sparked a war aboard a spaceship where it was fought over several centuries.
This kit from Games Workshop faithfully captures Khârn in his iconic pose as he prepares to plunge into battle with mindless brutality. The model is clad in heavy, crumbling Terminator armor that is lavishly decorated with Khorne symbols, skulls and chains. Khârn is armed with his iconic Gorechild chain axe, which is full of minute detail, and a plasma pistol. The set includes 8 plastic pieces and a 40mm round base. The model is highly detailed and is a perfect representation of this legendary figure.
