1/72 Mirage IIIE
KPM 1/72 Mirage IIIE is a 1/72 scale model of French supersonic fighter and bomber aircraft. Derived from the original fighter version, the Mirage IIIE was equipped with improved avionics and the ability to carry a wide range of armament. The KPH edition kit includes decals, paint masks and 3D printed parts.
The Dassault Mirage III is one of the most important fighter aircraft of the post-war era. It entered service in the early 1960s and became the first European fighter capable of flying at Mach 2. Its sleek delta wing and powerful SNECMA Atar engine gave it excellent flight performance. The Mirage III gained popularity in many countries and became particularly famous for its deployment by the Israeli Air Force during the 1967 Six-Day War.
The Mirage IIIE variant was a multi-role machine designed not only to intercept the enemy but also for offensive missions. It received an extended fuselage to install more advanced avionics and navigation systems, which also allowed for precision bombing. The machine could carry a wide range of bombs, missiles and air-to-air missiles, making it a versatile fighting vehicle for the French and foreign air forces.
The Mirage IIIE was extended into the armament of many NATO and non-European countries and became an export success for the French aircraft industry. It served not only in France, but also in Australia, Switzerland, South Africa and Pakistan.
The 1/72 scale KPM kit in the KPH edition offers a detailed version of the IIIE version with authentic shapes and rich equipment. Decals, paint masks and 3D printed parts are included to increase the level of detail and make building the model easier.
The package does not include the paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
