1/48 F-86K NATO All Weather Fighter

The F-86K Sabre Dog was a European version of the F-86D Sabre fighter designed for all-weather combat. Unlike the American variant, it was equipped with quad cannons instead of unguided missiles, which better suited the needs of NATO member states. The F-86K was produced not only in the U.S. but also in Europe, particularly at the Fiat plant in Italy. These machines served in the European air forces for many years, with Germany, France and Italy being the biggest users.

The 1/48 scale Special Hobby kit includes four frames of grey plastic parts, a frame of clear parts, resin castings and photo-etched parts for added detail. The decals from the renowned manufacturer depict three attractive machines in metallic paint - an Italian and Dutch aircraft with unit emblems on the vertical tailplane, and a Norwegian machine with a toothy muzzle and caricature of Laika the dog. There are specific and very rich descriptions for each variant. The model offers a high level of detail and a varied selection of camouflages, which will please even the most demanding modellers.

The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
