1/32 Horten Ho 229 B
Brand: Zoukei - Mura

The Horten Ho 229 represented the pinnacle of German aeronautical engineering at the end of the war - the first jet "leflying wing, which, thanks to its shape and wooden construction, acted as a precursor to modern stealth aircraft. Behind its development were brothers Walter and Reimar Horten, who had been involved in tailless gliders since their youth and later continued under the guidance of Dr. Alexander Lippisch, the designer of the Me 163 Komet. Their Ho 229 project was to offer a combination of high speed, long range and minimal air resistance - parameters that would provide the Luftwaffe with a new type of interceptor.

The Ho 229 B variant was developed as a two-seat night fighter with tandem seats and a FuG 220 Lichtenstein radar in the nose, similar to the He 219 Uhu. The rear crew member acted as radio operator. Despite its exceptional potential, the aircraft did not enter combat service - the war ended before the prototypes were completed.

Zoukei-Mura presents this fascinating 1/32 scale machine with extraordinary fidelity - the design was based on detailed studies of surviving Luftwaffe plans and documentation, as well as parts from the He 219. The model shows the characteristic "flying wing" shape, realistically detailed internal structure and two-seat cockpit with fine details of instrument panels, seats and radar equipment.

The kit includes a choice of configuration - single-seat Ho 229 A or two-seat Ho 229 B Nachtjäger - and clear fuselage parts allowing the detailed interior and structural frame to be viewed. The result is a unique model that brings to life the spirit of the Horten brothers and represents one of the boldest experiments in World War II aviation.

The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
