Informace o originálu:
RMS Titanic je britský zaoceánský parník postavený pro lodní linku White Star Line. Start se uskutečnil 30. května 1911 v loděnici Harland and Wolff. Titanic, oslavovaný jako zázrak námořního inženýrství, byl považován za nepotopitelný. Tato legenda se během své první plavby ukázala jako nepravdivá, když parník narazil v severním Atlantiku do ledovce a v noci ze 14. na 15. dubna 1912 se potopil spolu s asi 1500 lidmi. Byla to jedna z nejpozoruhodnějších námořních katastrof 20. století.
